perl to resize window

Not sure if this is correct place to submit my question...

Is there a way in perl to resize window media on win2k. For example if I was to launch a .avi file using windows media player and I want to position the window media player at lets say the center of the screen with specific size in width and height. How would i do that using perl if there is such a way?
