Perl, cpan auto installation?

I'm terrible at Perl. Always have been. So if this question seems stupid, it's because i am.

All of our boxes start with a default install of perl, but one of our programs requires that i run:

perl -MCPAN -e'install "LWP::Simple"'

And this brings up this hugely annoying interactive session that I have to be there for 10 minutes to take care of.

Is there a way to accept the defaults of this crazy interactive installation? The only 2 questions I ended up changing the values of concerned location "America/United States."

You could pipe the right responses to perl with echo, or you could generate and distribute a Config.pm file with the proper settings to the relevant servers (or even put it in the skeleton directory as .cpan/CPAN/MyConfig.pm).

See this thread for more information and some other suggestions.
