Packet capture and bandwidth control

How to capture packet using ncap library?
Is there any functions related to controlling bandwidth in pcap library?

Moved: This thread is more suitable in Programming and has been moved accordingly to help your thread/question get the exposure it deserves.

Receiving packets via ncap is done using ncap_recv_packet() function.

As far as I know, standard pcap has no easily accessible bandwidth-control functions.

hm, what's capture? Recognized protocols in top levels?
I seems, what bandwidth-control function might be construct via struct pcap_stat pkt;
But ncap using own driver, possible it will be more faster.
