Question Outputing a 3D image file from a Java program

Hello,

I have a model of a biological process written in Java. The current visualization of the model is 2D but I have included a possible z axis in the program. Rather than spend a lot of time trying to write some sort of opengl 3D realtime visualization I thought it might be easier to generate some sort of 3D file which I can then load into Blender or something and render it to look nice.

Anyone has any advice?

Cheers,
Phil
