Hi,

If you're using apache as a web server, you can use mod_rewrite to do what you want:
Code:
RewriteEngine on

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^/index.pl
RewriteRule index.pl /cgi-bin/index.pl [L]
Regards
