i download (( Web Downloader for X )) but when i write ./configure i have this problem

I have mandrake 10.1 official ( 3 CD's )
and this problem in other programmes
ex: mozilla firefox
but when i setup this file and when i write ./configure i have:

You need to install gcc from the RPMs that came with Mandrake, as you need a C compiler to compile gcc from source. Therefore, the only way to install it on a system with no C compiler is to use a binary package (in this case a RPM).
Mandrake has a good package management program calle urpmi, this makes it easier to install packages from your installation CD roms or from the internet. To find out more about urpmi, go to zebulon.org.uk and easyurpmi. Once configured, you would then install gcc, by doing

i installed glib by rpmdrake but i can't do anyting with this massege
Look at the error message, it says glib 2.0.6 is not installed, so you need to make sure you install a version of glib2 thats equal to the one required or newer. Also if you have glib2 installed but not glib2-devel you can get the same error.
I guess you didn't get what I said, Mandrake has it's own version of glib, thats probably installed on your system. What you need to do is use rpmdrake or urpmi, to find out what version it is and install the devel package. Also Mandrake puts it's glib in /usr and not /usr/local, the default when you compile your own software, so you configure glib with a prefix of /usr. Also, if you insist on compiling your own version, always get the latest version, which I think is 2.6.1 at the moment.
Do me a favour, can you reduce the font size in your signature, it's too distracting. Anyway if you just do
$./configure
the files get installed in /usr/local so your system may not recognise your installation. What you need to do is go back in to your glib-2.6.1 directory and
#make uninstall
$make clean
once thats done, do
$./configure --prefix=/usr
$make
#make install
then do
#ldconfig
You may need to install/upgrade pango and atk before upgrading glib and gtk.
