"i am looking at QT/KDE or Gnome/GTK.
can any onre suggest me a good book for that or any website." Here is a book that I own on Qt: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...87225?v=glance Here is a book that I own on Gtk+ http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...87225?v=glance "considering i am beginner in all this so it should osrt of very easy to understand and follow..." Both of these books assume that the reader is an experienced programmer. For what it is worth, I prefer Gtk+ to Qt. ___________________________________ Be prepared. I use KDE and Qt, So basically a good book on C++ is always a good thing.
Theres a list of books for Qt and KDE. Theres also the KDE Devlopers corner and the API documentation for KDE and Qt. Its also surprising how much you learn directly from the sources. Gnome also has resources like these. |
By having a little bit of Programming experiance like me ..
I think http://acm.uva.es is a good programming website njoy programming... Good luck |
thanks all linux friends for great help. really appreciated.
