Need scsi command to get serial number of a scsi tape

Hi,

I am writing a software in C for scsi tape maintenance. I need to get tape information like vendor, product id, revision number , serial number. I am able to get all these except serial number using INQUIRY scsi command . I tried INQUIRY command with EVPD bit set in CDB and page code as 80 to get serial number but was unsuccessful.

Can someone plz let me know how to get serial number?

regards
Romesh
