need library for generating excel files format

hi all
is there any library to generating excel files format
in c/c++ language?
if no can anybody guide me how do that?

Why not just use csv and have excel import it?

If you absolutely must have excel files (with embedded formulas and such) you would probably want to look at a programmatic interface to open office or one of the other office suites.
