Ok my school is doing a project with MySQl and i have to make a database with it i know nothing about it. So i need your help with linux and MySQL.

Thanks im reading this up right know, onlt thing i really dont know which Linux Distro to use for this. Everyone at my school is going to be needing to open it up easy and stuff, i jsut need to make the database thats all. The others will be programming in PHP,C#,and Java in here so i dont know which Disrto to use he was talking about Linspire but i dont know about that distro to well. So Which one should i get for DataBase :/

I don't think it'll matter too much which distro you use, you should be able to find a MySQL package for whichever one you're using currently. I think you have to pay for Linspire too, not sure though.

well this past weekend it was free download, lol so i have one and my teacher too lol. So i dont know which tp use Linspire or Suse 9.3? But i still dont really understand what in the world i have to do really i mean, i have to make it run pretty much i dont know hwat to do. Install and thats it or what lol.
