MT3 to WP Migration: Chinese converted to unfamiliar pattern in URL
I am migrating a blog from Movable Type 3 to WordPress.
The blog is written in English and Chinese. The URL's of the posts that were made in Chinese came out to something similar to this in Movable Type 3 when they were written: site.com/2012/06/articles/dispute-resolution/aaeccaacaaeeeaaaaaaaeecaiiii/ The part we are looking at is the /aaeccaacaaeeeaaaaaaaeecaiiii/ part After I migrated the content to WordPress, WordPress actually recognized the Chinese characters of the topics and inserted them into the database as Chinese: site.com/2012/06/29/因出资瑕疵引发的公司诉讼-跨国公司在华公司诉/ Does anybody recognize what type of encoding Movable Type is using for the /aaeccaacaaeeeaaaaaaaeecaiiii/ part of the URL? I would like to figure out how to get these mapped to the new WordPress equivelants without having to manually do 301 redirects on 200 posts. |
