Memory clobbered error

I'm working on Linux 2.2 kernel. When running for a while,my program will prompt "memory clobbered before ..." and crashes. I think this because the memory allocation encountered some fatal errors. I debug this program by strace, and I'm prompted some brk(.....)=....... I can't go further. Please help.

Thanks and sorry. The program is so big(5M) and I think it'll not be useful to see it. You can give me a general guide.
