i need anything like matlab
or does it exist on linux

yes matlab exists for linux. go to their site. www.mathworks.com . you know, you really could have found this just by using a search engine...

Octave

Octave is a gnu program, that was designed to mimick MatLab. It does not have a symbolic language though.
