Manually Change Fan Speed, C, C++; Obj-C; or Assembly (AT&T?)!

Again the computer Has An OS to stupid to do this with an API!
I need to manually change the fan speed, it is the noisiest fan in the world! I know I can (and that it's safe) because Windows Itself Changed the speed (and was by far the most power hungry os on the machine!).
The computer is running FreeDOS now so I dought it will heat up any more than Windows did .
Using djgpp and have the lua API installed (liblua.a in lib all the headers in include) and I think I have access to dos.h. Ill come back and tell you if I have bios.h.
Vaio/Sony Desktop there is a number on a tray on the bottom but I cant read it (stupid dog) I'll come back if I decode the number.
How can I change the fan speed in C(and decendants) or Assembly?
