Making the terminal window invisible.

Hey there

I would like to ask something which probably can be considered as not usual. Lets say for some reason we want to make the terminal window invisible but still operating and in some earlier time visible again. Is something like that possible with Java especially?

Thanks for your time and for sharing you knowledge and experience

Pretty much, you'd be interested in killing the javax.swing.* and java.awt.* visual classes, and having it run in the background.

You could do it, by spawning a java.lang.Thread for the application to run in, and then noodle around with setting up an interface for letting the user enable and disable the visibility: window.setVisible([true | false]).

The only hard part about this would be getting the program's interface to come back. That's the part you'll have to figure out.
