Making PHP files in Red Hat 9?


i am trying to learn PHP and everything. Put how to I make it in Linux and how do I setup MySql w/ PHP on Red Hat. I have install 1,2,3 discks with the server. So how do I go bout making PHP files on here. Any suggestion will be very helpful and thank you to those who help me.

Open up a text editor, create a file with php code such as:
Code:
<? phpinfo(); ?>
Then save it as somefile.php within your web server's DocumentRoot and access it via your webserver.
