ltmain.sh missing on make all


Hi,
I used
aclocal
autoconf
touch NEWS ....
automake --add-missing
./configure
make all

but the "Make all" failed, the result was ltmain.sh missing.

Solved the previous problem.
New ones occurs however,
I need to link in pthread_join.
I have checked various spots and google
and still isn't sure how to link in static and dynamic libraries
such as pthread_join
Any clues
