lp print- alt196 character
 

Hello,
Our application creates spool jobs which sometimes includes a line drawing character _____ "alt196" (ascii -60). This causes a problem with the formfeed that normally takes place via the spooler ("text only" filter) itself. If I inlude one of these special characters anywhere in the print job, the formfeed doesnt happen, if I append a formfeed to the job data , it works fine, however, if there happens to be no alt196 chars, then I would get two form feeds! (LPRng-3.8.5-3) . Thank You.
