Loop that will generate dates from now to beginning of year

I am working on a application in which I need to populate a listbox with dates starting with the current date (at the top) and add each date all the way back to 1/1(the last added date). Can anyone help me as to how I would set up a LOOP TO PERFORM THIS TYPE OF FUNCTIONALITY?

get current date
convert to seconds since 1970
subtract 24x60x60
convert to date
add to listbox
No idea for implementation
