Look up record pop up window.

PHP, MySQL

Electronic work order.

I have a from where the user creates a work ticket. I want the user to be able to look up which client the ticket is for and insert the primairy key from the record in the client table in to the the ticket in the ticket table. so i guess i am wondering how to have 2 pages open and transpher data between them. IE look up customer in one page and have it insert in to the other page.
