location of the file on the disk.


hi,
I want to know the exact location (sector no, track no and head) of particular file on the disk. How can i do it? Can any1 help me?

thats really old and not for ext3. Anyways its source code will help me. Is there any thing new similar to ruf ?

I think ext3 is no different from ext2 as far as inode blocks layout is concerned.
