Post linux video class device driver

i am developing a USB video class driver for linux as loadable modules. and i have tried the KDB patches from sgi.com site for debugging the kernel code. but my problem is that the kernel version on which i am working is 2.4.30 whereas the patches in FTP dir is only for the 2.4.27 kernel i.e. there is no patch available for 2.4.30. and when i patched the older version and build the kernel with KDB support my system hangs while starting the kdb while modules are loaded. can you help me out. thanx in advance. waiting for reply.
