Linux kernel porting

Hi all,

I have been working on a custom made EVM(Evaluation Module) which boots fine with 2.6.37rc1,but creates kernel panic while booting up on 2.6.38rc2. How do i debug the same/ How do i start porting the kernel to accommodate my EVM ? Kindly help me out?

Regards,
Harsha

KGDB + printk()s.

Additionally, if you're writing kernel code and don't know how to read an OOPS, you probably should be writing less and reading more.
