linux doesn't call scheduler after interrupt and set task need resch flag
Hello,
In a linux task I am generating interrupts for each memory request it is doing. When the interrupt is called I am doing the following in the interrupt handler:
1 dequeue the task
2 Set the task state to TASK_UNINTERRUPTIBLE.
3 call set_tsk_need_resch for this task.
After the interrupt handler completes I expect that another task is going to run, but instead
this task still generates printk's that I print in the task itself because it is still running.
I think there are no semaphores holded by the task.
What can be the problem why it is still running?

By the way, the values are set are set correct.
