Linux C++ Networking

I am really interested in learning C++ network programming but i can't find any good ebooks or tutorials on this topic. I know C++ basics and i need this so i can create simple aplications like sniffers, resolvers, etc... Nothing special. Does anyone has good stuff about this?

Have you tried searching TLDP?

I couldn't write anything C++ to save my life, but Lisp and Java, I'm your man. I could provide synonymous code for you in Java and Lisp, but neither would carry over well, as Java networking is a very isolated little creature, and Lisp is pretty much from the ground up (not to mention the syntax is WICKEDLY different and practically unreadable for anyone who doesn't know the language).

Try searching /usr/include for networking header files.
