Linux API's

Hello everybody

I m using freescale's i.MX board (as a target)..together with it i got Sharp's LCD (LQ035Q7DB02)..I m using Linux on my Host pc.

First thing..I have to make simple mobile screen (as my application)... how to proceed for this thing..any tool or utility available to make mobile screen on linux.
Let me know the graphics API's available in Linux..just like windows API's i.e. setpixel(),drawbox() etc

Second thing.i have to display the application (mobile screen) on the LCD ..

i have used framebuffer concept to display text, image on LCD ..but i have made my own function to do that..that is qite cumbersome....any API's available to display on LCD..

Any help will b appreciated

Waiting 4 ur reply

Thanx
Hazzy

I don't know what you mean by "Mobile screen", my answer is probably wrong. For graphics programming on Linux you should google SDL. Get the library's (mostlikely you'll already have SDL library's). Just browse the tutorials and documentation on how to use it.
