Be more specific about what you are trying to do. lexx & yacc are code generators. They produce C source code by default, which is then compiled and linked in the usual way. If given the name of a '.l' or '.y' file, make will normally know how to turn it into an executable. Try
Code:
make myfile.l
Post the relevant output of make here.
--- rod.

PS. This would have been more appropriate in the programming forum.

Agreed. You can click Report at the bottom of the thread and ask a moderator to move it for you. Your question will get better exposure in Programming.

Cheers
