Kylix 3 on mandrake 9.1 linker error


I have installed Kylix 3 on a mandrake 9.1 and when I try to run a program, even a blank form, I recieve about 70 Linker errors like these:

[Linker Error] Unresolved external 'setlocale' referenced from /home/made/kylix3/lib/debug/rtl.a|System.o
[Linker Error] Unresolved external 'pthread_getspecific' referenced from /home/made/kylix3/lib/debug/rtle.a|SysInit.o
[Linker Error] Unresolved external 'raise' referenced from /home/made/kylix3/lib/debug/rtl.a|System.o
[Linker Error] Unresolved external 'write' referenced from /home/made/kylix3/lib/debug/rtl.a|System.o
[Linker Error] Unresolved external 'exit' referenced from /home/made/kylix3/lib/debug/rtl.a|System.o
[Linker Error] Unresolved external 'free' referenced from /home/made/kylix3/lib/debug/rtle.a|SysInit.o
[Linker Error] Unresolved external 'pthread_key_create' referenced from /home/made/kylix3/lib/debug/rtle.a|SysInit.o
[Linker Error] Unresolved external 'pthread_once' referenced from /home/made/kylix3/lib/debug/rtle.a|SysInit.o

[Linker Error] Unresolved external '__errno_location' referenced from /home/made/kylix3/lib/libborcrtl.a|ptinit.o
[Linker Error] Unresolved external 'strlen' referenced from /home/made/kylix3/lib/libborcrtl.a|borerr.o
[Linker Error] Unresolved external 'abort' referenced from /home/made/kylix3/lib/libborcrtl.a|borerr.o

I didn't have this problem with my old RedHat 7.3.
If someone has an answer... Thanks a lot!!

Here's the fix

I had the same problem. Here's the fix.

Go to this site:
http://codecentral.borland.com/codec...sting?id=20136

Follow the instructions, and it will solve your difficulties. Note that if you have an existing project, you will need to adjust the include and library paths in that project. However, if you selected the "fixed" paths as the default, any new projects will be ok.
