Kernal Programing

Where could I get some information on kernal programin? Specifically dealing with a (basic) mouse driver.

I am currently enrolled in a unviersity course in which we are doing some of the programing, and I have found myself wanting more information than what is offered.

If anyone would know where I could obtain more information, I would be gratefull.

The kernel often has good documentation somewhere. Try /usr/src/linux/Documentation/DocBook/mousedrivers.tmpl (DocBook) for the mouse.
