Unhappy Kdevelop finding docs problems

I'm probably being stupid but i've been running Kdevelop setup using Kubuntu on an AMD64 machine. Sorted out most of the things it couldn't find (except Glimpse and sgml2html which Synaptic couldn't find), problem is that although i've now installed Kdelibs-doc i still can't get Kdevelop to find it!

Looking under properties in Synaptic, it tells me that the docs are installed at:-

usr/share/doc/kdelibs4-doc

Tried pointing Kdevelop at at but it just tells me that it's the wrong path, it says:-

the chosen path for the KDE-Libs does not lead to the KDE libraries.

Therer isn't a kdelibs-doc just the kdelibs4-doc.

Please help a newbie, i just want to get started and i need the docs!!

In Configure Kdevelop->Documentation you have an option to add your own documentation source. Have you tried it?

Even if you make it to start it up, kdevelop can be a painful experience. If you are starting up i recommend you to try up the eclipse IDE with the cdt plugin for C++. It will save you a lot of pain and disappointment.
