KDE3 - Kicker

OK, I am still learning Linux here and I have come to love KDE3

I have done some programming in the past for Windows (not anymore though ) and I do want to get back into it for Linux.

I do have a couple questions though....

With the kicker bar on KDE3, how configurable is that programming wise?

Along the lines of the kicker bar, I had an awesome idea for it, but I needed to know if it is possible to use Opengl with it?

I am just begining again and havent touched C in almost 4 years now, so it will take a while to get back up to speed, but if I can do what I am thinking, I think a lot of people will love it.

You can write your own kicker extensions and applets kdevelop provides an template for them, so you don't have to do everything on your own. As QT provides OpenGL widgets, you should be able to use them.
