JavaScript Resources

Does anyone have a link to a JavaScript resource that list all/many of the built-in functions? Also, I'm not sure where the standard comes from, but how to reference the different properties of a web page. i.e. I know I can set the background color of the page via document.bgColor=color, but what about the text color, or the background of a table on that page? I don't need answers to these specific questions just a resource similar to
http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.mysql.php for php MySQL functiions
or
http://www.w3.org/TR/1998/REC-html40.../elements.html re: html tags

Thanks,

I've looked there but can't find what I'm looking for. Maybe if I knew what I was looking for it would help. I think they're called API's I was just looking at the table of contents of a JavaScript book online and it looks like it has what I'm looking for but I haven't found them on the net yet. It has:
JavaScript API Reference
Anchor
Applet
. . .
Document
. . .
Screen
. . .
Window
.etc.

This is what I'm looking for if anyone knows where there is one online?

I am aware of this. I don't believe that I mentioned Java anywhere in this thread.
