javadocs... where?

Ok, I'm running debian, and just installed java using this method: http://serios.net/content/debian/java.php (which worked like a charm I might add). My question is this: where is a good place to put the docs file? For instance, in I was to install a java IDE (recommend any good ones on linux?) where would be a good place to have to docs? Thanks all

I'd put the docs in /usr/share/docs/java-<VERSION> because I expect my docs to be installed in /usr/share/docs/
