Java SDK

This questions probably been asked a thousand times but I couldn't find what I required. I've installed the java sdk into /usr/java/j2sdk1.2.3_03, and I now want to be able to execute my programs, as I did with the windows CLI. What do I need to configure.

Could you explain your problem more? Is it that you can't launch java programs in Linux (add usr/java/j2sdk1.2.3_03/bin to the path varable in /etc/profile), or is it something else?
