java permission problem

Hi guys,
I want to simpl y explain my problem...

I try to run my project (which is my entire framework, really a big project) from Eclipse Run menu, but the program includes a webserver therefore it has to open a socket.. because i do not log in as root, i get this exception

java.net.BindException: Permission denied

Does anybody know, how can i start java applications in Eclipse as root...

i don't wanna log inas root, i just want that this program runs with root privileges.. If i could add a "su " it will be ok but i dont know what to do...
.

You can run Eclipse as root by opening a console and running:

$ su
<enter root password>
# <path to eclipse>

Eclipse should open and have root privileges and any process run from Eclipse should also have root privileges.

Alternatively, you can use an unprivileged unused port for your web server in the development phase.
Running any application as root is almost always a bad idea.

votd,
you shouldn't get a permission denied exception for port 8081, even running with a casual user privileges.
