Question Is this command OK for making a PATCH?

I VeXP-VIAXine-2.1 currently at home, and I want VeXP-VIAXine-3 (10MB), but I have 56k internet.
Here at work, I have fast internet, so I downloaded both, and using cygwin, I want to do a patch. Is that the good command?

diff -drbBENU 3 VeXP-VIAXine-2.1 VeXP-VIAXine-3 >viaexp-2.1-3.0.diff

Then of course, I bzip2 it, and obtain a 666KB file. Nice
Yves.

It looks like a good one. You'll see when you patch it.

Thanks! Unfortunately, the mail from work did not reach my home (because of the attached file?), so I had to download the whole 10MB archive, which took almost 40 minutes...

Yves.
