Is it a good combination to use ???

Is it a good combination to use

CGI/Perl + PostgreSQL

Because whenever I search net for something about it what I found is

PHP + PostgreSQL
OR
CGI/Perl + MySql

I want to devlop application in CGI/Perl + postgreSQL
What u think ?
which one of above is good combination ?
As I know CGI/Perl is powerful then PHP
& PostgreSQL is stable & better then MySQL.

What makes you think that MySQL is 'unstable'? I've never had a problem with it and I think the amount of sites using it would suggest that nor have others.
