Installed Python 2.4

Ok, ive installed python 2.4 on a SuSE9.1 system, what would be the best program to write and compile the code in for that language???

A good text editor (as vim) with syntax highlighting (such as vim) that you can also run commands from inside the editor to compile your stuff (like vim) is all you need

bluefish is very nice, i'm using too for python (2.3 though)
