Smile inode data structure?

i need one more help from you..i want to add a new field to inode data structure ..where is this inode data structure is located actually?

I can see struct inode in fs.h.

Path: /usr/src/linux<version>/include/linux/fs.h

You have already installed the "kernel-devel", haven't you?
