Incredibly annoying pc speaker beep on error in MySql in Windows XP

If I enter in a MySql query that results in an error, I get a nasty PC speaker beep along with it. Does anyone know how to get rid of it?

By the way, the installed mysql version is mysql-4.1.12a-win32.

When you start mySQL use -b or --no-beep as an option.

i.e.

mysql -b databaseName

Thank you!

I guess I should learn to read the documenation ('mysql --help'). I just assumed the solution had to be something really complicated.
