Post image similarity test


Does anyone know how to detect how similer two images are in linux, using perl? I would like to use ImageMagick if I could, but if that can't do it, that's okay.... thanks.

The netpbm package has a tool called pnmpsnr which I think will do what you're looking for. If I remember correctly, it's used by the motion software motion detector.
