IdGlobal.hpp (C++ Builder) counterparts

Hi,
I want to manipulate some URL string data on Linux. In Windows (C++ Builder), you would use IdGlobal.hpp, what is then the corresponding header file in Linux? Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Jack

well, i think your looking for <string> or <cstring>

<string> defines and works with the string class in c++, and <cstring> works with c strings, which are just char arrays. both of these are not unique to Linux, they are included in the standard.
