I want to sent string out to serial port com1 (RS-232)


I am newbie in C on linux. I want to edit C program to recieve string from command line such as "ctrlport P11E" where ctrlport is command , P11E is argument. The argument "P11E" I want to sent its to COM1 (RS-232). Who has sample code please post it to me here. I use SuSE Pro 9.3 Very thank for your help.
