i like to use qbasic(ha ha ha. like you'll get anywhere with that),visual basic(the quickest way to get broke), a little c(really good language), and my favorite, EUPHORIA
you should learn euphoria. it may not be very commercial, but it is sitll a really good language kind of like c and basic combined.
