Question I really need some help with this VB Problem...

I am supposed to create a StreamReader file which the data file I am using has numbers 1-9 with a name assigned to each number. I have been working at this for hours and hours, and cannot figure out how to have my program read the numbers in a list box and when a number is selected from the list box how the name will show up in the name text box. Please help. I am using datEmployeeNo for the StreamReader, EmployeeNoList for the list box, and EmployeeName for the employee's name text box. This is an assignment for my Visual Basic .NET Framework class. I have reviewed the text book, looked at the instructor's examples, and the instructor does not help very much. I am one of many students that have had a problem with this class. I give everyone that will answer my question credit. Here is all I have so far, and this is due by tonight! AHHH...lol... I have more to do but this is what i need help with the most thanks!

Option Strict On
Imports System.IO

Public Class Lab6PayrollForm

Private Sub Lab6PayrollForm_Load(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles MyBase.Load

Dim datEmployeeNo As New StreamReader("Payroll.txt")

End Sub
End Class

John W, Programming is not strictly Linux. It is not forbidden to ask Windows programming questions here. However, it doesn't seem to be the place to find many Visual Basic experts. However, if someone passes by, why not...
