I need a script to start Maelstrom from a graphical icon

When I want to play Maelstrom I have to cd to /usr/bin then run Maelstrom. Is there a way to create a graphical link that I could click on to start Maelstrom? I could also use this script for other games/tools I use.
Thanks in advance.

You could create a .desktop file and place it in on your desktop. Here's one I use to launch conky on my desktop - modify it as appropriate and place it in ~/.local/share/applications
~/.local/share/applications$ cat conky.desktop
