I have a project about the network layer
Hi all,
I just want to ask you about one of my project. I don't need the code BUT if someone could help me with this I would really appreciate it;
So I have to create a network layer so that the data contained in 2 files can be exchanged over the network layer using data link protocols (bidirectional) In this I need the protocol events, timeout packet loss, packet check sum, debug flags, and file1 and file 2
If anyone can help me with this I would really appreciate it;
Thank you very much and have a nice weekend;

Help you with what?? You've said what your homework is, but haven't said where you're getting stuck, error(s), or version/distro of Linux.
If you can post what you've written, and what the problem is, we can assist.

Here's another place to get some really useful info:
http://www.gnu.org/software/libc/manual/
In particular, look for socket, bind, listen, connect, poll, select.
