html/css problemo

Making so i can practice html/css skills.

but i have 2 problems.

1) One i dont want to have the tables resizing when i add more text than i'm supposed to. I want the text to just go on to the next row.

2) My css formatting is only working sometimes.. Let me show you where im getting the problem

Where i made bold is my problem.. Thanks, i think this is a relativley easy thing to fix.. Thanks!

I think you are one line off

Change:
hr {color: black>
to:
hr {color: black}

I think the hr definition is spilling onto the next line.

I've done it my self a few times too. It's so annoying since you never actually look at the line with the error.

An easy way to catch things like that is to use the validator. HTML Tidy is a useful program too; formats your HTML if you like, and does validation too.
