How to write script to scan ip list through Nessus?

Scripting language: Shell script

I want to Scan IP’s from IPlist.txt through Nessus using shell scripting language. Give the Input (IPlist) to nessus and generate Nessus report in xml or PDF form which is saved automatically on computer .

Please help if any one has idea about how to write script for this.

Lots of ideas; have you read the "Question Guidelines" link in my posting signature?? We are happy to help you if you're stuck, but we are NOT going to write your scripts for you. Post what you have written/done/tried of your own, tell us what problem(s) you're having and any error(s)/message(s) you're seeing, and we will be glad to assist.

Otherwise...there are thousands of easily-found bash scripting tutorials that can help you get started.

From
https://man.cx/nessus(1)

In this section, you are required to enter the primary target. A primary target may be a single host (e.g. prof.fr.nessus.org), an IP (e.g. 192.168.1.1), a subnet (e.g. 192.168.1.1/24 or prof.fr.nessus.org), or a list of hosts, separated by commas (e.g. 192.168.1.1, 192.168.2.1/24, prof.fr.nessus.org, joyeux.fr.nessus.org).
Essentially, you have to convert your input file presumably having one IP entry per line into a single line separated by commas.

Then use it in nessus (-q option). See example towards the end.

Also reading the man page indicates that pdf isn't a supported output option.

OK
