Pascal is kind of dead, except in the whole Delphi area. And even that's not exactly burgeoning. So, as far as I know there's no readily available Pascal compiler for Linux. Perhaps you might take the time to learn a better high-level language?

I don't want to distract from the main point here, which is that python is indeed better , but there are free Pascal compilers.

Debian users can do "apt-get install fp-compiler"

Get a new version here: http://www.freepascal.org/sdown.html

there's gpc (gnu pascal compiler) for your *.pas's.

Yes, i know pascal is dead and so on... But as i have some stuff already written in it, why should i write that again in one of the other languages? I have enough of better work.
